Hi, I'm Jane – the group's nominated 'Foodie'.

 

Getting stuck in a food rut is always a risk, but with a bit of imagination you can liven up your ‘safe’ dishes, and discover new favourites that are just as easy to put together.   Summer is a great time to experiment, as the ‘little bit of what you fancy’ principle lends itself beautifully to picnics and barbecues.   And of course, little ones love being freed from the tyranny of cutlery!

With fresh fruits and salads a-plenty, healthy eating gets a boost this season too.   If only I could count the cucumber in my Pimm's as one of my five a day.
