Hi, I'm Helen – otherwise known as Fitness Fan.
I love the summer; getting out of the gym and into the park gives me new enthusiasm for my exercise regime. And there’s nothing more refreshing than a little early morning yoga in the open air. I really enjoy taking my yoga mat into the garden and performing the sun salutation to the actual sun; even though my neighbours must think I’m nutty...
Plus it’s nice to get out of all those winter woollies too – to put on a bikini and feel that I look OK (if a little pasty after months under wraps) rather than gasping at the mirror... And of course, exercise releases all those feel-good endorphins, so even on ‘down days’, it’s well worth getting out there.
